Introduction
The Foundation Course for the MBBS undergraduates admitted in 2023 (Batch 2023-24) was held at TMMCRC from September 2023 to December 2023. Conducted by the Medical Education Unit and Foundation Course Committee of TMMCRC, this course followed the recent modifications implemented by the NMC (under BOG) for the CBME Curriculum. The foundation course was meticulously divided into six comprehensive modules, each designed to foster the overall growth and development of the students.
The orientation program marked the beginning of the foundation course, aimed at welcoming the new batch and familiarizing them with the medical college environment. It provided the students with essential information about their journey ahead and set the tone for their academic and professional lives.

A notable aspect was the cadaveric oath conducted by the Anatomy Department under Dr. S.K. Jain. This oath emphasized the humane treatment of cadavers, recognizing them as voluntary gifts for the betterment of society.
Student participation in the foundation course was enthusiastic and energetic. The students provided valuable feedback, expressing a desire for more interactions with their seniors and regular motivational sessions to maintain their enthusiasm and commitment.
